Dear Colleagues:

On behalf of the Chinese Ocular Fundus Diseases Society, I am very pleased to welcome you to Chengdu, for the joint meeting of the 12th Congress of Chinese Ocular Fundus Diseases Society and the 2nd CAPVRS held from April 5 to 7, 2007.

Chinese Ocular Fundus Diseases Society Meeting is the largest retina meeting in China. We are very happy that it will have the collaboration with the CAPVRS. The joint meeting will cover all medical and surgical retina fields basically and clinically with the program providing more clinical exchange in Hot Topic Session, Case Discussion Session, as well as Video Session and New Equipments and Instruments etc.

I believe this joint meeting will search out our common interests and we would share the knowledge and solutions during the meeting.

Please note, the deadline for submitting application is February 28,2007.

Chengdu, the city where the meeting will be held, is located in the Southwest China. It is well known as the capital of "HeavenlyState" and habitat of the pandas. This city’s profound long-standing history and culture  have been over 2400 years. There are many historic places such as the Thatched Cottage of Du Fu etc. Also the Sichuan cuisine is very famous. Enjoying the food as well as shopping, tasting the culture as well as having tea at a Chinese teahouse .
